LIVE SHOW BLOG : MOSELEY FOLK FESTIVAL

September 10, 2015

This weekend I travelled over to Birmingham to play and compere on the Kitchen Garden Stage at Moseley Folk Festival. This was my first visit to the festival and it was a marvellous day. Mosley Folk Festival is in a section of Moseley Park which is tucked away behind the shops in the heart of Moseley, just outside the centre of Birmingham. After I picked up my friend Joanne Rowe, who was also performing on the same stage, we made our way to the entrance only to be guided to another entrance. This was all fine though. Once inside we made our way to the stage and I introduced myself the crew who were all very lovely and welcoming. The whole day was marvellous. This is a really chilled and relaxed festival and also very family friendly. Loads of people set up ‘camp’ at the main stage with picnic blankets and food and this really helped create a lovely feeling to the festival. I really enjoyed playing and chatting to people after my set, particularly those people who travelled to see me play (thank you for coming along).  I would definitely encourage you to visit this festival if you enjoy indie folk and rock music, it is certainly one of the best around. Below I have posted I few photos from the day.
