Today was a really interesting day. An early start to meet some friends, a @coventry2021 meeting which was great and then I took a walk to give me some time to think and ponder. I was thinking that as we strive and travel along we so often try to find the best path, maybe the correct path, the path that looks safe and obvious. I got thinking that so often the most interesting paths to find are the ones that not many people have walked before or maybe a path that is completely new. On Saturday I helped bring 80 volunteers to Foodba

On Saturday I helped bring 80 volunteers to Foodbank to help pack 10,000 meal packs for people in Lebanon who are in poverty. I worked with an incredible charity called Feed the Hungry. Each of the food packs will feed 4 people. Wow! #feedthehungry #hope #love #generous #kindness

Over the last few weeks I’ve been involved with an incredible project with @coventry2021 @grapevinecovandwarks and @ce_lawcentre called The Story of Us. So often people aren’t given a place at the tables where decisions are made about them and so this project was about sharing people’s unique stories. I was involved in helping perform a song and also playing music at the two live performances which were both really powerful. On Saturday I managed to dodge most of the heavy rain to finally visit a number of the incredible @cov_culture / @coventry2021 / @coventrybid #theshowwindows! The song I have contributed to the project is partly inspired by the work by @london_artist1 which is installed in @belgradetheatre and it is such a wonderful piece. The works by @evans_mbugua @popcaribe @adamnathanielfurman @benjavens also really blew me away. This incredible festival celebrates the wonderful Coventry community in all its diversity.
