It had been a while since I played at The Big Comfy Bookshop, the gorgeous intimate venue in Coventry, so it was good to go back there again. The gig was a really special one which included Holly Hewitt joining me on a harmonies as well as Dan Hartland (who was supporting) joining myself and Holly for an off mic performance of Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey.
Just before the doors opened for the gig itself I recorded a Big Comfy Session with the legend that is Rob, from Redwood Photography, and an interview with shop owner Michael. My First choice, for the two live tracks, was For the Souls of My Brothers from Routes. Followed by my cover of The Power of Love, originally by Huey Lewis and the News, as the song I wished I’d written. I hope you enjoy watching the videos!
